WILL PATCH FOR CAKE: Many kids have to patch their good eye to help strengthen their weaker eye. My son has been patching 6 hours a day for almost his entire life. That is a LOT of patching! Patching can be a HUGE struggle and sometimes the only way to get through it is with a little bribery. Thats where this shirt started. Everyone loves cupcakes, and I guess it helps that I am also a cake decorator!

I need to order shirts and capes for my two boys! How do I?

    • says:

Jen, Im so excited you found our page. You can order shirts on our kickstarted project here:

Read through all the pledge levels on the right of the page and after you decide on what you would like click the green “back this project” button. Backing/pledging is the same as ordering. If you have any questions let us know!

As soon as the project ends we will send out a survey where you can tell us what shirt sizes, designs, and colors you would like. :) Your boys are going to rock their shirts!

  • Charlee says:

I love your shirts and capes. I conduct vision screenings during the school year on children between the ages of 6 months and 6 years. Our main goal is to detect vision abnormalities especially anisometropia, strabismus, and amblyopia.

  • Stacy says:

I just saw your story on NBC news and it made me so happy. I love these shirts! My three year old has been patching her whole life and just started wearing glasses. This is a great idea! After seeing the patch shirt, I wish you could design patches as well- they are so much better than some of the patterns out there! We will be ordering shirts shortly. Thank you!

    • says:

Thanks so much. We would love to design patches some day. We are already working with ortopad and hopefully will convince them to do patches soon!

  • Danielle O says:

The timing couldn’t be more perfect… Our 2 year old just lost her eye to retinoblastoma & is starting chemotherapy this week.

These shirts gave me hope & made me feel less alone <3 I look forward to supporting a business with a vision so close to our hearts.

Will you be making patches soon to match the shirts? ;D

    • says:

Thanks so much! Good luck with your daughter. Would you be interested in doing a spotlight story on her. I would love to add another retnoblastoma story, many parents are going through the struggles you are right now. I hope all goes well for you! We are hoping to partner with ortopad to create some awesome patches at some point. :)

  • Emily says:

You are amazing!! What an incredible idea. I am a graphic designer too and have 4 month old identical twin girls, one with PHPV. She had a vitrectomy and lensectomy at 6 weeks and just got her contact on Monday! I can’t wait to order her a hot pink super powers shirt :)

  • Rebecca says:

Was wondering if you have patches available? Would love to be able to order some “cute” patches for my lil superhero!

    • says:

At this time we do not carry patches even though we hope to in the future. Our favorite patches are ortopad! You can head on over to there site and order some or you can also order them off of AMAZON. Hopefully someday soon we will have super hero eye patches!

  • Stefanie says:

I love your congenital cataracts shirt! My daughter has amblyopia, patched and just had surgery on both eyes. I would love a shirt about winning that battle. I love what you guys do!

    • says:

Such a fun idea. I will look into working on a shirt design. If we get enough interest we will create one! 😉 What would you have it say? What are you fighting? 😉

  • Jenny says:

I LOVE the frames your son is wearing! I just found out that my 17 month old daughter needs glasses and I would like to look at some like these. Could you let me know what kind they are?

  • Leah says:

I need a t shirt that says something about multiple surgeries for detached retina and patching. My baby (7) is having a tough go of it with another vitrectomy on the calendar.
